missed my horse-a-lorse! he was excited to see me. first ride in four months! my horse could live with me on whidbey island if i wanted but i think he is happier at his barn with all of his horse friends. it was good to hang out with him today!

another new cup: scrub jay, poppies, barbed wire fence.
there is a scrub jay that always hangs around my backyard. i’m pretty sure he’s eating my strawberries, but it’s okay because he leaves me feathers every now and then. i think that’s a fair trade.

there are a lot of wild rabbits in my backyard. when i go out to let my chickens out in the morning i usually see one right by the coop.
